Moon Film Review: Magic in Moonlight


For reasons we don't need to go into here, but which are you are welcome to read about here Your Cultural Correspondent (Film and Theatre) judges any Woody Allen film by the yardstick of 'Midnight in Paris'.  Against it, 'To Rome with love' was found wanting. Very wanting. What about 'Magic in Moonlight', his latest flick? 

Well, while not 'speaking to' Your Cultural Correspondent (Film and Theatre) in the same was as 'Midnight in Paris' did, it was, nonetheless most enjoyable.  Light and fluffy with a star turn, of course, by the ever sublime Dame Eileen Atkins.
