Moon Film Review: Trumbo

The Dame in a hat.

Your Cultural Correspondent (Film and Theatre) thinks that 'Trumbo' is a marvellous film. Shamefully, before seeing it, they knew nothing of the story. So they left the theatre filled with admiration not only for the acting (applause all round and well done Mr Bryan Cranston for that Oscar nomination, and Dame Helen for those hats), but also with a greater understanding of what it must have been like to live in the land of the free in those times. Plus with a regret that the film probably isn't doing as well as it should.
